I just noticed Darci and Alessandra’s poses are kind of similar… Funny. Two very famous and highly-recognizable dancers but you can’t see their faces. Pretty shots though.

Delirium and I were trying to figure out how Alessandra does that — balancing and completely supporting her weight on the tops of her feet like that. I thought it was just an illusion in that Manon shot, but then saw that book of photos of her taken by Fabrizio in the lobby (do check it out while at ABT this season if you get a chance) and she’s doing the same blasted thing with no pointe shoes, barefoot and outside. So, it’s no illusion — how in the world does she do it?????
