Sixth street pilates

Erica just invited me to join her for a Pilates class here. Usually I’m not a big fan of mat classes, but this one was really great. The instructor had good things to say and was great at recreating some of those Reformer moves on the floor.

Now I’m about to take Erica on her first motorcycle ride to one of the last happy hour events at Doug’s company thehappycorp’s NOLITA space. The building they occupy now is being demolished so they are stepping up to a 5,000 square foot loft space that happens to be only a few blocks away.

    Hi Sloan,
I enjoy Pilates, and now that The Pilates Studio moved out of 2121 Broadway (the Steps building), I’m having a hard time finding an athentic replacement studio on the upper east or west side that has great teachers and affordable mat classes. I used to take three classes per week along with some private (on the equipment) sessions. Now I must travel downtown and go to different studios to find good teachers. I used to get this all at one studio and pay alot less in time and money. I’m try this place that you liked also. Thanks for the tip.
