Ha ha, I agree! I initially thought this was a sculpture — kind of reminded me of the artwork Sandi had photographed and posted earlier and Jennifer commented as being cooly “viral” or something like that!
I had dreams about R&J last night, after having the pleasure of seeing the dress rehearsal yesterday. The company really learned to sword fight - it’s amazing! I hope everyone gets the chance to attend NYCB’s R&J, it’s pretty fantastic! Oh, and on topic, cool picture of the weaponry Kristin!
Thanks for that link, SanderO! Oh lord, I can see the critics’ daggers flying already!!! This is going to be fun Seriously, this is such a big deal, and no matter what is said, just the fact that it is something so huge is going to make Tuesday night so exciting! Last year at this season’s gala, I saw Angel Corella standing in front of the theater looking all handsome and dapper in his tux smiling out at everyone :) I saw other people too, but he was the most exciting to me. I just love premieres
Dea (who used to comment on the Winger a lot) is going tonight — I think she has seats pretty close up — she got there at 5:30 in the morning last week! I’m so jealous! I’ll try to make her write a comment…

By the Way there is an interesting article and R+J in todays NY Times:

I prefer the TragicLoveNYC approach…
