Glasshouse hosts such interesting events… Started in the UK, their
events are helf at places like soho house, rockell studio and tonight
at the bogardus mansion.
Tonight’s presentation features last.fm founders with a discussion
around the music industry and social interaction online, moderated by
a guy from Rolling Stone who’s name I’ll insert later!

Hi Kristin,
Did the founders of last.fm put in any mention of their jealousy inducing office ball pit? http://blog.last.fm/2007/12/21/blogging-from-the-ballpit

ha, amazing! have you been?
they didn’t mention it, but they did mention someone living in a tent on the roof of their office for a summer.

They said they had an ‘adult’ ball pit, which to them meant it was much deeper and that ‘kids would get lost in there, yah’. Not sure if there was more to the ‘adult’ part, but it sounds like fun.

Hi Kristin,
No, I haven’t been to the ball pit although I’m wondering whether there will be a sort of a “ball pit” arms race. The story so far:

You’d think arguing to management that installing a ball pit would increase employee satisfaction and enable healthier activity would be good arguments but *sigh* no success on my part.
I agree with megan that last.fm is a lot of fun too and I’m not sure if I’m helping or hurting when I tag pieces of music with “ballet” whenever they come up. Maybe I’ll start tagging them with “Balanchine”, “Wheeldon”, “Robbins”, etc. Hmmm….
