Going through photos and trying to recap on what I have been doing since the end of summer, I have decided to put these ‘catch up’ entries in a few different posts.
(Publicity shot for ABT’s tour to Orange County)
Beginning with Japan.
My time with Johan Kobborg in Japan was one of the most fulfilling experiences I have had artistically. Debuting La Sylphide and having him as a coach helped me explore aspects of my acting and dancing that I hadn’t reached. Japan is always a pleasure to visit, and the people and the culture something that I am constantly fascinated with.
After a long tour with ABT, I assumed I wouldn’t have the energy to keep dancing for another 2 weeks. But the experience proved to reenergize my body and fulfill me in many different ways.
(two adorable kids on the subway with matching gameboy’s)
(the great group of photographer’s, writer’s and translator’s that made an interview possible for a Japanese publication coming out in March)
I then went on to a MUCH NEEDED vacation to….
Can you guess where this statue resides? He is the most famous writer from this country and this statue is where I relaxed for two weeks….
