GWYNETH MULLER was born in New York, New York and grew up in Westport, Connecticut. She began her dance training at the age of five at the Stamford City Ballet with Allegra Kent. At age 10, she began studying at the School of American Ballet, the official school of New York City Ballet.

In December 1999, Ms. Muller became an apprentice with New York City Ballet and joined the Company as a member of the corps de ballet in June 2000.Since joining New York City Ballet, Ms. Muller has danced featured roles in George Balanchine’s GEORGE BALANCHINE’S THE NUTCRACKER™ (Hot Chocolate and Flowers), A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM (Hippolyta), RAYMONDA VARIATIONS, and LA VALSE; Peter Martins’ THE SLEEPING BEAUTY (Queen) and SWAN LAKE (Queen, Spanish and Princesses); and Jerome Ronbbins’s MOTHER GOOSE (Good Fairy). Ms. Muller originated corps roles in Boris Eifman’s MUSAGÈTE, Robert La Fosse’s LAND OF NOD, Mr. Martins’ CHICHESTER PSALMS and HARMONIELEHRE, Susan Stroman’s DOUBLE FEATURE (Irene’s Mother), and Christopher Wheeldon’s AN AMERICAN IN PARIS and CARNIVAL OF THE ANIMALS.
