PATRICIO MELO was trained at the Teatro Municipal School - Santiago, Chile, and joined the company (Ballet De Santiago) under the artistic direction of Ivan Nagy. During his time with the company, he has worked with choreographers such as Glen Tetly, Ben Stevenson, Peter Wright, Ronal Hynd, Natalia Makarova, and Ismael Ivo. He has also danced with Marcia Haydée, Richard Cragun, Alessandra Ferri, Luis Ortigoza, Marcela Goicoechea, and Julio Booca to name a few.
His leading roles include John Cranko’s Onegin, Romeo and Juliet, and Initials R.B.M.E., Balanchine’s Serenade, and The Four Temperaments, Trey Mcintire’s Touch, Second Before the Ground, Bejart’s Gaite Parisienne from the national choreographers Art of Bird based on Neruda’s Poems.
Patricio is also an actor, and at the moment has been demonstrating his skill as a dance photographer
