Time to go again!
Loading Camelot out of the Bob Carr Performing arts center in Orlando. Next stop Dallas.
Bye Seattle! :-(
Well, it’s time for us to move on… we have five shows this weekend, and then it’s off to Detroit. I did get a nice sunny day for sight seeing.

The next day it was gloomy again, but got to go to the Snoqualmie Falls. Beautiful!

Also went to see the Chihuly chandelier in the symphony hall. So cool.

we are really sad to leave this fabulous city.
Sandi and I at PNB
Hi winger readers. Like so many other contributors of the Winger, I too have my excuses for my lack of contributions to our favorite website! But I do want to share more of what has been happening in my life, which is a lot. So here is a start.
Sandi, as you know, is in Seattle performing Camelot. So we got to meet each other on Friday. Sandi came to an open rehearsal at PNB to watch the final rehearsals for Pacific, a Mark Morris premiere for PNB, and a piece called Sense of Doubt, choreographed by Paul Gibson.
Thursday is the opening night for “The Seattle Festival“. Peter Boal organized this incredible festival where we are performing two weeks of Carmina Burana and Pacific and one week of three different programs with choreographers from the Northwest.
So that is what I am doing right now. But I do need to catch you up on some of the incredible things that have happened to me in the past three months. So please stay tuned for some really cool pictures that I will be posting very soon!
Busy in Seattle
Seattle is mostly dreary but we love it here!

Went to REI and climbed “The Pinnacle”. I had never been on a rock wall before. So much fun!

Went with my buddy Rachel to Victoria, BC to the Butchart gardens where the tulips and cherry blossoms were in spring glory.

High tea at the Fairmont empress hotel.
A lovely day off- I love my job!
Indianapolis School of Ballet!
Our quest for ballet class on the road continues- and led us to a wonderful experience! Vicky Lyras has started the Indy school of Ballet from scratch all on her own. She has created a dream space in which to learn to dance!
None of the classes fit into our schedule, so incredibly, Vicky opened the school and taught class for just the 4 of us. Amazing.
An alum of SAB and former principal with Pennsylvania Ballet, we had a lovely class, with a few Balanchine-ey challenges for our musical theatre bodies.
We couldn’t resist the fun light, and played a bit with our cameras.

Thank you Vicky- the children and ballet lovers of Indianapolis are blessed to have
you! Oh! And the cast very much enjoyed the chocolate you gave for the long bus ride!
