Fun with Video
Because we’re not performing now, my days are a little freer and I was fortunate enough to participate in a few video projects in order to help out some artist friends.
This photograph is a photo from my friend Jen Denike’s video shoot that I participated in yesterday. This piece will be shown in Stockholm and London before coming to a New York gallery in about six months. It was so special for me to be part of her creative process. I also was involved in a video for www.chameckilerner.org which will be used as a backdrop to a modern dance piece being performed at the Kitchen. In that video, I am imitating a ballerina on the top of a music box.
NY City Ballet Update

We successfully completed our winter season at the NY State Theater in late February, and we performed ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ for a week during a Shakespeare festival in Washington, DC.
I then vacationed in Palm Beach, Florida for our week long lay off (I bumped into the ABT crowd while in Miami on a day trip!), and we are now rehearsing for our upcoming spring season.

Social Life Magazine Photo shoot
Today Ask la Cour and I had a photo shoot for the cover of Social Life Magazine. We had a lot of fun choreographing poses while showing off the beautiful clothes. Our issue will be on stands next month.
