Doug and I had lots of good family time during my two days off from Nutcracker.

Christmas eve was spent with my parents. They are from Boston but have recently moved to New York (my dad is a commericial photographer and wants to do more work here). My best friend Megha also joined in the festivities. Then Christmas day was spent with Doug’s family in New Jersey, which my parents also attended. Lots of good company AND good food.

Now we have one last week of Nutcracker. Every day, except Thursday, we have two shows. Ouch! It makes it a bit difficult to rehearse for the winter season which will kick off on January 2nd, but Rosemary is the master of making sure everything comes together. It also looks like I will be dancing the pas de trois in Swan Lake the first week. I can’t wait!
