Doug and I chose to take the train instead of fly, so here I am, sewing ribbons and elastics on my pointe shoes.
Every dancer has their own way of placing their ribbons and elastics on their shoes, so the shoes always come without them. I sew mine on with dental floss. It’s stronger than thread, and comes in it’s own little case that also protects the needle!
