I just got back from Japan 2 days ago.
I was there for a month. I havn't been back there for a year and a half!
So everything seemed so new to me. I was like a tourist.
Shibuya was so much fun, and I love that kind of restaurant you went to. (we call it izakaya or yakitori yasan) You can pick more than one kind of food in a small portion so you get to eat little of everything!

I was glad to hear that you liked Japanese foods. Japan is rich in seasonal foods. Next time you go to eat, I recommend you to ask for seasonal food of fall. I am not sure that you can eat fish or not, but there are good fish. I am Japanese living in Chicago, there is several Japanese restaurant and glossary store here, but their prices are double of Japan. I miss reasonable good Japanese food… When I go home in this winter, I will definitely visit “Graniph”. I hope that you will enjoy rest of your stay in Japan.
