Kate. Laurel was tickled when I transmitted your regards. She couldnt stop talking about your science skills and how smart you are. What a cool family to be a part of. Glad to know there are other sci-geeks in the dance blogosphere. Perhaps there are others...

Tonya. I am glad you enjoyed Laurel's performance. Kristin and I went last week and were equally enchanted. Today I will be visiting Laurel at Dalton to have lunch with her and guest teach her dance composition class. She will be happy to hear your rave review. I will keep everyone posted on Laurel's upcoming performances. Definitey someone to keep your eyes on, its practically impossible not to.

Hey Tony, were you there tonight (20th)? I really liked it. I actually thought Laurel was a better Sexton than Hannah (whom the woman sitting next to me, an English prof and writer, and I agreed played Sexton more like Sylvia Plath; she was more schoolgirl sweet than sexy, though she was a great actress and changed between the roles brilliantly). But Laurel, with her dancing, I felt was more the sultry Sexton, and my favorite parts of the play were where Laurel expressed Sexton's words through her dancing. I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like that and I thought the dancing added so much more to the words than just speaking them. Anyway, thanks for the recommendation!

I had been wondering if you knew Laurel, who besides being an awesome dancer, also happens to be my cousin! If you read this before next week, tell her that (cousin) Kate says hi from Scotland.
