I have arrived… to the chaos that is called Tokyo! As the traquility of Martha’s Vineyard fades into a memory, I had a polar change, and a 13 hour flight, to the streets of maddening Tokyo. But, I might add that it is one of my favorite cities in the world. The efficiency and dicipline that embody the Japanese (which I will try and document for you all during my stay here) is awe-inspiring.

I am here for 2 weeks… all by my lonesome self. I am dancing with a Tokyo based company called ‘Noriko Kobayashi Ballet Theatre’ in Paquita and Les Sylphides. They are very nice and VERY welcoming, making me feel very comfortable in such a foreign land!

I have an itch to explore un-charted territory though, and will eventually lead to getting lost in the maze of Japanese streets. This is quite an experience and I’m determined to make the most of it. From all of the friends I have spoken to, you either love Tokyo, or you hate it. Well, hopefully through the pictures, you will see my love for everything Japanese!!
