I was filming the gala (everything but the actual show) for the final video installment on Tragic Love NYC. See Tonya’s great account of the evening here (if you haven’t already).
Kristin! I am sad to see this coming to an end! You are probably relieved in some ways because I can imagine it must have been tiring and stressful getting it all out there but you can rest knowing what a great job you did. It has been such an important look behind the scenes, gotten people talking about the creative process and truly brought interest to the entire production. We need more things like this to help promote ballet all the time. It’s been months since you first told me you were taking on this project and I am so glad it has been recieved with such success! Congrats! Can’t wait to watch the final installment.

Oh wow, that thing was taking video - -I thought it was just an enormous, weapon-sized camera!! What a great night; that was such an event!

(By the way, if anyone who doesn’t normally read my blog read what I said about David — oops, I was just being silly, for the most part , though I do wish he’d post more often )
Watching the red carpet video clip, I have to say that Kristin herself steals the show…
