Fellow blogger Arjan, who has a music blog called arjanwrites.com (go check it out!), told me that I should include more photos of myself in my posts. I thought about it, and decided that he was right.

My answer to this suggestion: find the photo in which I wear a costume that makes me almost completely unidentifiable! Here I am leaping through the battle scene as a rat.

Enough joking around. Below are some photographs from Atlanta Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker (choreography by John McFall).

Kelly Tipton as the Dewdrop Fairy

Tara Lee doing a contortionist move with James Pruitt in Arabian

One-hander!

Crazy Trepak boys! A flying Li-Chuan Lin being thrown.

Jarrod in the middle of a back handspring. Yeah!

Come with Peng-Yu Chen and me on a little walk across the stage:

Walk’s over!

Myself and Peng-Yu again.

Lauren Post in a beautiful arabesque.

Ginny Coleman as the Shepherdess, with her lamb.

We’re only halfway through our Nutcracker run, so there’s at least one more Nuts post to come!

We have a friend that is in SNOW in your ballet! Her name is Sara Beery! If you can post a pic of snow I would LOVE LOVE to see it!

Fun shots - I like the “walk across stage.” I’ve never seen a full-blown Nutcracker but am enjoying the pictures. I also like how Wingers keep track of their Nuts run - it must be an annual hurdle/highlight to get through.
