Over the next two weeks, New York City Ballet will be giving a total of four final performances this year of Peter Martins new Romeo + Juliet. It won’t be up at Lincoln Center, however. You’ll have to go a bit further north…
This Tuesday begins NYCB’s summer residence at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (aka SPAC) in Saratoga Springs, New York. It’s a beautiful town, as well as a beautiful trip (I’ll be documenting some of my 3.5 hour drive later today!). The Saratoga season is three weeks long, and Romeo + Juliet will be performed this Friday and Saturday, as well as next Tuesday and Wednesday (July 6th at 8PM, July 7th at 2PM, July 9th at 7:30PM, and July 10th at 7:30PM).
