I had my debut of Oberon in Ashton’s The Dream on Saturday… which has got to be one of the top 10 favorite ballets of mine, and top 10 hardest, (comparable to Theme and Variations).

Notice the sweat still dripping off my face…. Sorry for the visual!

Congratulations on your debut. :-)
I think it’s good to see the sweat! I often watch beautiful dance an forget how difficult it actually is to execute- we should all be reminded of the sweat involved.
Did you have fun?

I love The Dream! Ashton’s choreography looks pleasing but is probably very difficult. How did Othello go?

David,
Merci pour les photos. Je suis impatiente d’assister à la représentation mercredi soir car c’est toujours une grande joie de pouvoir te voir sur scène.

We saw it last night (Tuesday) and it was super. Stella was great.

I had the great pleasure of seeing you perform this on Wednesday night and was totally blown away by your performance. I love ABT and the whole show was great, but you were definitely the highlight for me. Congratulations on your success and keep up the great work!

David,
Ta présence dramatique sur scène est extraordinaire. J’ai quitté le théatre sur un nuage de fantaisie, tellement j’étais prise par le ballet, par vous tous. Mille fois merci pour le beau rêve.

Hey David,

Sup? I’ve been meaning to introduce myself to you.
Write me if you’d like to chat.

I was at the matinee of Othello Sunday at Dorothy Chandler, and must tell you how magnificent I thought your performance was…I noticed the audience was also riveted by the passion of your storytelling, and I thank you for such dedication to a beautifull expressive art. Thank you, thank you!!!
