BIO | POSTS

Hi winger readers. Like so many other contributors of the Winger, I too have my excuses for my lack of contributions to our favorite website! But I do want to share more of what has been happening in my life, which is a lot. So here is a start.

Sandi, as you know, is in Seattle performing Camelot. So we got to meet each other on Friday. Sandi came to an open rehearsal at PNB to watch the final rehearsals for Pacific, a Mark Morris premiere for PNB, and a piece called Sense of Doubt, choreographed by Paul Gibson.

Thursday is the opening night for “The Seattle Festival“. Peter Boal organized this incredible festival where we are performing two weeks of Carmina Burana and Pacific and one week of three different programs with choreographers from the Northwest.
So that is what I am doing right now. But I do need to catch you up on some of the incredible things that have happened to me in the past three months. So please stay tuned for some really cool pictures that I will be posting very soon!

It was a delight to meet Carla and see the rehearsal! I felt like an old hag next to her youth and beauty. ;-) All of the dancers were wonderful, but Carla was especially magical. I was so sad not to be able to catch a performance of PNB, but I have to say, this was probably much more fun! I especially loved watching Peter Boal watch Carla dance- he’s as enchanted as the rest of us, and also looks like a proud… Papa? Big Brother? Anyone going to the two ballets named above is in for a real treat. Thanks to Kristin for connecting us and to Carla for her loveliness and her ballet rehearsal hospitality!
I’m looking forward to reading all your news Carla!
