I know what you mean about the ancients building incredible things - the cats above lived in the acropolis in Lindos, which was high up above the harbour in the last picture.  We all marvelled at how the ancient Greeks would have carried all the stone up to the acropolis to build it - and how they would have got water up there!</description>

do they have anything special there about the colossus of rhodes? ancient history is so facsinating, especially when you think about how there was something so incredible in a place where there is now nothing.</description>
