When did you start riding?
I think that is awsome!
Baby blue is getting ready for sping and summer. It feels like you just put him away.
I have an ‘02, but the F800GS is beautiful. I may be considering a change when it gets here later this year.
i ended up looking at the R1200R. i guess it’s only 50 lbs heavier than my bike, but with loads more power.
the saleswoman was saying they made a R1150R in 2004 that I would probably like, so they are going to see if any happen to come in. the price tags on these new bikes are a little aggressive!
david - feels like its been forever for me
during the winter doug and i feel like we almost forget that we have bikes… then it’s like this awesome surprise when spring rolls around, and we don’t have to depend on the subway or cabs to get where we need to go. yay!
miki - i started in august of 2006. i have fun riding with doug, but i wanted my own
Yes, the R1150R is decent. There are several available on the BMW MOA flea market; I think a few were on the East Coast.
didn’t know about that. just googled it.
thanks!!

Motorcycle riding in urban areas is extremely dangerous. Suggest you peruse an actuarial table.
Skydiving is much safer.
There are 2 types of motorcycles–those that have crashed and those that are about to crash.
If you get into a motorcycle accident there is an 80% chance you will die or sustain an injury, compared with a 20% probability if tou are in an automobile.
