It reminds me of a story our ballet mistress always reminds us of whenever we are working on corps pieces. She said that when she was in the San Francisco Ballet she was under studying Waltz of the Flowers, and something happened to one of the dancers so they asked for someone to step in and she had been practicing really hard and knew it well so she stepped in and ended up preforming all of the on stage performances for the show. It just goes to show that hard work really does pay off! That’s great that you ended up getting to preform! Seemingly simple actions actually took a ridiculous toll on my body. Congrats on getting such a great learning opportunity!
