Dark knight sold out all weekend. What was the last movie you couldn’t see no matter how badly you wanted to?
Between this, the lines for the iPhone 3G, and the fact that it’s almost impossible to get a Wii Fit… argh!

I saw the movie twice last week-end in Imax and at it was amazing.

A few summers ago I couldn’t get in to see Fritz Lang’s “Metropolis” (the print was cleaned and original score were resotred) at NYC’s Film Forum. However I did get to see it because the response was so huge that the film played for a few weeks at the Ziegfeld - the best movie screen in NYC!
I’m guessing I’ll be in for another wait in the near future. There was a story yesterday morning on NPR that about 20 minutes of “Metropolis” footage was found in Argentina.
