So I was thinking… a part of my life as a dancer is the wonderful dancers I work with right? The ladies of Ballet Austin periodically get together for a girl’s night. Our evening ranges from going out for dinner and wine, lounging around someone’s house, to our recent video night.
I gave all the girls an assignment over our Christmas break: Everyone was supposed to find early ballet videos of themselves. Or if you did another activity, those too. Ashley hosted the evening at her and her husband’s beautiful home, and when he came home a little earlier than expected, we let him join in on the fun.
It was an amazing event!
Michelle’s was the evening favorite with her re-enactment of Act I of Giselle, complete with the whole flower sequence, at 9 years old.
If you ever have a chance to do this I highly recommend it!
