Home resting before my debut as Basilio in Don Quixote.

Many folks have expressed their hesitation to me in this role, figuring me as just the prince.

BRING ON THE CHALLENGE!!

Check out a fun article in TimeOutNY this week about the debut performance.

Merde, David! My son (a student of Mr. Han’s) will be there tonight. I wish I could be there, too! Many thanks for all that you share on The Winger. I’m sure you will be spectacular as Basilio!

I’m sorry that I can’t see the performance. We went on Tuesday and everyone in ABT was fabulous and I read that Wednesday was great as well. I’m certain that David will do his usual incredible dancing and acting and the audience will be nothing less that thrilled to the gills!

It’s a wonderful ballet. Have fun!

I wanted to say how much I admire your dancing. I was six years old when I first saw you dance (I was taking at Ballet Arizona), and fell absolutely in love with ballet, and your talent! I remember walking up to you and asking for your autograph after the spring performance your last year at ABS. Haha at that point I started wanting to do guys variations more than girls!
Anyway, I wanted to say that I’m so glad your career has gotten this far, and that it’s no surprise to me ’cause you’ve always been amazing!
To this day you’re a huge impression on how I see dance, and a reason I keep it up, and hope to forever.

I’m going to have to keep visiting this blog!

Merde!!!
