On my upcoming six week tour, which embarks tomorrow, I wanted to share 4 favorite things that I love about Tokyo, one of my favorite cities in the world and my first stop.

Graniph, the store that I hit EVERY time I go to Japan. Obsessed with the t-shirts, great design, great product.

Great Japanese architecture. Like this by Tadao Ando.

Or this Prada store by Herzog & De Meuron

Whiskey!!!!!! Japanese Whiskey!!

Harajuku and and the girls that reign there.

Cant wait to see the city again and perform for the audiences there.
Peace Sign! More on the travels to come.

Have a great time there. I hope weather there is nice. Sometimes Tokyo in Summer is really humid…
Are you visitin other sities in Japan?

if you like, try ShoChu( like vodka but made with potaoes, corn, barley or anything actually. A lot of Japanese people drink it with Clubsoda or sprit called ” Chu Hai” It is pretty refreshing. My favorite is fresh squeeed grape fruit juice with ShoChu.

Enjoy!!!

Sounds like a wonderful place to tour. I’ve always wanted to visit Japan. Especially Tokyo, and the Harajuku district.

Glad you’re enjoying traveling. In your blog about La Bayadere (love the turbans, BTW), you said “more later” regarding your shoulder coming out of the socket in Act I on June 28. I’m assuming you’re okay, or you wouldn’t be touring … but, nonetheless wondering … are you okay? Certainly hope so ….
