At the Good Magazine party last week (which included the infamous Al run-in I posted about earlier), there was a photographer taking these shots, which were the same as the cover on their first issue, only you could write in your own title with a dry-erase marker. Kinda cute.
I wonder how Al’s came out…

Last Friday, as many of you may already know, The Winger, Tom Gold and thehappycorp global hosted a pre-party to help promote “New Ballet Choreographers“, an event held by the Miller Theater and Works and Process at the Guggenheim running through this Sunday at the Miller Theater.
The video footage I did of Tom’s rehearsal was projected outside on the wall of the building next door, and photos were taken by thehappycorp’s Erin Sparling.
Thanks to Tom and everyone who came out, to Erin for photographing the event, and a big thanks to thehappycorp for making the whole thing possible!

I couldn’t resist taking a shot of these two girls trotting down the street, oblivious to the world around them, as some American takes a shot of them!

So cute!!!!

While I was at Jacob’s Pillow I had the pleasure of working with Mike van Sleen. Mike started to work at the Pillow in 1997 as a Audio Supervisor. In 2001, after being amazed over and over by all the people that passed the Pillow and seeing all the incredible records of dancers and artist, he decided to register this moments on his own way, continuing the tradition of capturing people and the artist inside them. Mike’s portraits are very special and are able to capture people very deeply. You can go to his web site and learn more about him, see some of his work and even buy prints of pictures you like.
