NOELANI PANTASTICO is from Oahu, Hawaii. At the age of 11, Ms. Pantastico entered the renowned Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, where she studied for six years. After graduating from the school in 1997, she was then engaged by the Pacific Northwest Ballet, as an apprentice. She was promoted to corps de ballet in 1998 and to Soloist in 2001. In 2004, she was made a Principal.

In 1998, Ms. Pantastico was nominated by Francia Russell for the Princess Grace of Awards and in that same year was invited to dance at the acclaimed Aoyama Festival in Tokyo, Japan and at the Jackson, Mississippi Ballet competition. Ms. Pantastico was featured in the BBC’s 1999 film version of PNB’s production of Balanchine’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, filmed at Sadler’s Wells Theatre, London. In 2004, she performed the second movement of Balanchine’s Brahms-Schoenberg Quartet as a guest artist for New York City Ballet’s Balanchine Centennial.

In July of 2008, Ms. Pantastico joined Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo as a Soloist dancer.

Hi, i am a dancer in Bremerton, WA (accross the water from seattle) and loved watching you dance. I just recently saw you perform Susan Stroman’s Take Five. More or Less.. I would like to say that bremerton will miss you dearly and hopes that you enjoy dancing in Monte-Carlo. I am dissappointed that i am not able to see your last performance but i know that it will be wonderful. Before you leave I would like to invite you to a performance by the company that i am in. Peninsula Dance Theatre presents Cinderella- May 10 (8:00pm) &11(3:00pm) at Admiral Theatre in downtown bremerton by the bremerton ferry.

Noelani,
We have enjoyed watching you these past 5 years that we have been PNB subscribers. We will miss you terrribly, but we wish you well in your new venture. We will keep tabs on you through your blog here and will keep hoping that you may come back some day and dance for us again.
